Reader x Avengers

"I'm fine!"

"No, you're not. Get your ass over here and let Bruce fix you up." You glared at Tony and held your most-likely broken wrist against your chest. You sat on the couch beside the various other injured Avengers. Well, you say injured, but it was really only various states of bruising. Natasha didn't even have a scratch. Bruce walked over to you and gently pulled your wrist towards him. 

"Yeah.." He inspected it carefully. "It's broken." You bit your lip roughly as the pain shot up your arm. Steve sat beside you, slipping his arm around your shoulder and holding you comfortingly. 

"How did this even happen anyway?" Natasha looked over you carefully. "You were supposed to stay here during the mission.."

"Magic." You said sarcastically. 

"Magic? Has Loki done this to you, lady Y/N?" Thor looked over at you, concerned. Even after much explaining, Thor still didn't always get sarcasm. 

"No. Thor.. it was my own fault."

"Did you go after the asshole of a boyfriend you used to have?"

"No, Tony, I-"

"Did you try to reach us during the fight? One of us could've come and helped you.."

"Steve I didn't-" 

"I am sure you fought honourably, lady Y/N, but even the best warriors lose a battle."

"Thor!-"

"You should've let me teach you Karate.."

"Natasha, I really don't think that would've-"

"Soon as you're healed, maybe we can work on your archery again. You clearly didn't watch from afar like I taught you.."

"Clint, you do not understand-"

"This is quite a bad break, Y/N. I'm going to have to give you a cast.."

"Are you sure that you didn't go after that guy, I mean you were pretty pissed when he slept with-"

"ENOUGH." All the Avengers stopped what they were doing and stared at you. "I didn't go after my ex-boyfriend. I didn't get in a fight. I didn't try to go after you guys on your mission.......I am on my period. I feel like shit, I went to get ice cream from the basement and tripped and fell down the stairs."

And everyone shut up as Bruce fixed up your arm.

And Tony learned that it didn't feel very good to have a flying spoon hit you in the eye.
